Eliminate the Unnecessary

As a business owner, sometimes we feel overwhelmed by the number of things we have to do:

  • Responding to never ending emails
  • Tracking missing orders
  • Following up potential new customers
  • Updating the website content
  • Getting ready for the next promotion
  • Writing the next blog post or newsletter

Not to mention making time for friends and family.

With so many things to get done and only 24 hours in a day, how do you prioritise what needs to be done?

The answer: Eliminate the Unnecessary.

I came across this in Chris Guillebeau’s book, its called The Art of Non-Conformity: Set Your Own Rules, Live the Life You Want, and Change the World.

How to manage time Eliminate the unnecessary

If you are a startup business owner, I highly recommend getting a copy of The Art of Non-Conformity: Set Your Own Rules, Live the Life You Want, and Change the World.

It should be available in your local library but why not purchase a copy for yourself. His message is more relevant than ever and I find that I always come back to it when I’m stuck on a problem.
